I’ve previously shared how to make a warm S’mores Latte. This time for the hotter days, I’ve given the latte a cold brew version – the S’mores Cold Brew.
It’s all about the layers in this one. We’re adding a layer of chocolate sauce on the bottom as the chocolate component of a s’mores.
Cold brew coffee is mixed with a milk and marshmallow blend and sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs for all the components of a classic s’mores.
S’mores Cold Brew Ingredients
- ½ cup cold brew coffee concentrate
- 3 tbsp chocolate sauce (or enough for a thin layer on the bottom of your glass)
- 4 large marshmallows
- ½ cup milk
- 2 graham crackers
Tips for Making S’mores Cold Brew
Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
Cold brew coffee is easy to make, but takes a bit of planning ahead as you need about 15 hours for the coffee beans to steep in water.
But once you make a batch of it, you can store it in a mason jar in the refrigerator and keep it for up to a week.
Check out our guide for making cold brew coffee. You don’t need any fancy equipment. Just an empty pasta jar may even work. You’ll need to grind your coffee beans coarsely, or purchase coarse ground coffee. Then put this in water, set aside for 15 hours, strain and you have cold brew coffee.
Chocolate Sauce
I use Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce.
You don’t have to put a lot of it. But I put enough to cover the bottom of the glass for a layer look.
Marshmallows
I used large Jet-Puffed Marshmallows.
You can find it at your local grocery store or on Amazon. You can also use marshmallow creme, which will actually blend better with your milk.
Milk
I used oat milk. Feel free to use a non dairy alternative too.
Graham Crackers
I used classic Honey Maid Graham Crackers.
We’ll just be using this to top the drink.
