Berries and chocolate were meant for each other. With this thought in mind, I created the Raspberry Mocha – a delicious combination of chocolate and raspberry in a coffee drink.

Raspberry Mocha Ingredients
- ¼ cup espresso (I used Stumptown Hair Bender coffee beans)
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate sauce
- 2 tsp raspberry syrup
- 1 cup milk
- Toppings: Whipped cream, cocoa powder and or drizzle of raspberry syrup
Tips for Making Raspberry Mocha
Espresso
I used a moka pot to brew espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine at home, this is the brewing method I recommend using.
It’s easy to use and inexpensive to purchase. The result is a concentrated coffee that resembles espresso. Check out our guide to making espresso without an espresso machine – you can use a moka pot, French press or Aeropress – we go into details in this guide.
As for the coffee beans, I’ve recently been enjoying Stumptown’s Hair Bender coffee beans. Feel free to use your favorite coffee beans.
Dark Chocolate Sauce
I used Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce.
I use Torani’s sauces for most of my coffee recipes. They taste really good and most importantly, will mix well into both hot and cold coffee. It’s also really versatile and I’ve used it to drizzle on top of ice cream and other desserts. So it’s handy to have in your kitchen.
Raspberry Syrup
I used Torani Raspberry Syrup.
You can find this on Amazon. If you’re looking for other ways to use the raspberry syrup (as the bottle is quite large) you can use it to make our pink cold foam for cold brew coffee and also neapolitan coffee recipe.
Milk
I used oat milk. Feel free to use whole milk, skim milk or any dairy free milk alternatives.
Toppings
I used whipped cream, a sprinkle of cocoa powder and a drizzle of raspberry syrup on top of my Raspberry Mocha.
These are all optional, but make the mocha an extra special treat.
