Décor and ambience
A few steps from the sidewalk will lead you to a few outdoor seats. Inside, you can choose to sit by a large rectangular table or by the small tables.
Two baristas were at work using the shiny La Marzocco MP espresso machine and another was pouring hot water making the Japanese-style Pour over coffee. A little inside by the wooden wall was a lady ready to take orders. The friendly barista showed us how he makes pour over coffee.
Coffee: Type, price and taste
Irving Farm serves cartado, marchiatto, espresso, cappuccino, latte and Pour over coffees. The espresso came in a beautiful white cup and black saucer. The best thing about the espresso was the complimentary sparkling water in a tiny mason jar.
We have had espresso in South America that came with sparkling water and this added touch by Irving Farm was a best surprise.
These were our espresso ($3) and key lime caramel ($1.25). The espresso is not overly sour like some we have tasted. The sweetness of key lime caramel with the slightly bitter taste of espresso were just perfect.
