Step 1: Preparation

Measure exactly 2 cups of ground coffee and add to the inner pot.

Pour in 18 cups of water.

Give it a good stir.

Step 2: Brew

Put the lid on and secure it.

Check to make sure the steam release valve is in SEALING position.

Set to High Pressure for 5 minutes and let it brew.

Step 3: Let it cool

When it is done, let the Instant Pot sit for a while until the pressure naturally releases and the safety floating valve will drop open.

Open the lid and let it cool.

Step 4: Filter

Run through a coffee filter to strain out the grit.

Step 5: Serve

Pour over ice and serve! Add creamer, milk, or sugar if you prefer.

Store the rest of the coffee concentrate in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator.

If properly stored, it will generally last for about 2 weeks, although the flavor quality will degrade after the first week.
