This year, we are thrilled because of all the coffee festivals happening around the globe. There is a coffee festival going on every month except July, August, and December. We have recorded 41 in 25 countries with some help from Market Inspector. Take a look at their infographic below.

January
1. San Antonio Coffee Festival (January 7), in San Antonio, Texas
This event will take place at La Villita Historic Arts Village from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Highlights of the event include: meeting 15 different roasters, coffee demonstrations, music, good food and art activities.
2. Vienna Coffee Festival (January 13-16), in Vienna, Austria
The Viennese coffee house culture is listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Coffee houses have been in existence in the city since the late 1600s. There’s no better place to learn about the coffee culture than in Vienna. Combine your visit with the four-day Vienna Coffee Festival event. Ticket: EUR10
3. The Consumer Coffee Conference Seattle (January 27-28), Seattle, WA
A study of American coffee influence around the world is not complete without including Seattle because Starbucks originated from a little coffee shop there. Seattle is also the world’s “coffee roasting capital.” At this event in January, you’ll have a chance to meet experts, fellow coffee enthusiasts and taste some fantastic coffee.

4. 15th African Fine Coffee Conference and Exhibition (February 15-17), in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Africa’s largest coffee conference represented by coffee producers, roasters, traders, and professionals. Conference programs include an Africa barista challenge, tastings, coffee field visit, members and buyers power session, “women in coffee” program, workshops and more. This exciting event is at Millenium Hall, Addis Ababa.

5. The Consumer Coffee Festival (February 24-26), Los Angeles, CA
There will be exhibitors, classes, speakers, and events surrounding the show.

6. Cafe Asia 5th International Coffee and Tea Industry Expo (March 2-4), in Singapore
This event has 150 exhibitors from 20 countries (Australia, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Rwanda, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam). It is the only trade show in Southeast Asia dedicated to the café, coffee, and tea communities – a one-stop hub for coffee professionals to source for supplies and explore business opportunities. Meet coffee shop owners and managers, coffee and tea exporters and importers, distributors, suppliers of coffee related machinery and equipment.
7. Vietnam International Coffee Show (March 2-4), in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

8. Auckland Coffee Festival (March 4), Auckland, New Zealand
Auckland Coffee Festival is at Shed 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance fee is NZ$14. There will be coffee, music, food and more.
9. India International Coffee and Tea Expo (March 3-5), Kolkata, India
Since 2009, the biggest coffee and tea event in India occurs every year in Kolkata. Get new ideas, learn about coffee trends and meet buyers, sellers and coffee experts from around the world. There will be over 80 suppliers, 125 exhibitors and 3,000 buyers at the expo.
10. Amsterdam Coffee Festival (March 10-12), Amsterdam, Holland
The Amsterdam Coffee Festival attracts talented baristas and coffee mixologists. See who goes home with the trophy. Besides exciting competitions, the festival also includes coffee demonstrations and tastings, new products, coffee trends, coffee art projects, street food, and live music.

12. Coffee Fest Nashville (March 17-19), Nashville, TN
At Music City Center, besides good music, you’ll get to indulge in great coffee, watch coffee demonstrations, be one of the competitors, and learn about the coffee trend and more.

13. Coffee and Tea Festival (March 18-19), New York City
The 12th Annual Coffee and Tea Festival in New York City the Brooklyn EXPO Center. You’ll get to meet more than 60 exhibitors from around the world. You’ll have opportunities to taste the finest coffees and teas, learn more about coffee from the pros, and meet the winner of the Latte Art Throwdown.
14. Coffee Expo Shanghai (March 22-24), Shanghai, China
Shanghai, the largest city in China has a high percentage of affluent young adults. Coffee shops are places where they hang out and meet up with friends. Specialty coffee shops are in demand and many Starbucks locations in the city are usually full. To learn about the coffee culture and coffee opportunities in Shanghai, attend their Coffee Expo. The expo is at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. It will have 800 booths and 300 exhibitors.
15. Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest (March 25-26), Albuquerque, NM
Chocolate and coffee – what a great combination! Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest is the largest chocolate and coffee fest in the U.S. Ticket price is $10 per adult and $3 for kids between 3 to 12 years.
16. Melbourne International Coffee Expo (March 30-April 1), Melbourne, Australia
Melbourne is Australia’s coffee hub. Australia’s coffee business is rising and the projected revenue for 2016-17 is $5.5 billion according to IBISWorld. See the infographic below for details on the Coffee Expo.

Similar to the Amsterdam Coffee Festival, London Coffee Festival features over 250 artisan coffee and food stalls, tastings and demonstrations from world-class baristas, street food, workshops, live music, DJs, art exhibitions, and more.

27. The Canadian Coffee and Tea Show (September 24-25), Toronto, Canada
Discover new products, taste new flavors, grow your coffee business, connect with suppliers, and great desserts at the Toronto Congress Centre. It is Canada’s biggest coffee and tea show. Events include latte art championship, barista championship, and barista workshops.

30. Athens Coffee Festival (September 30-October 2), Athens, Greece
The second Athens Coffee Festival will attract over 25,000 professional and coffee lovers. According to the organizer:
The ATHENS COFFEE FESTIVAL is a new institution, dedicated to coffee and its surrounding culture, with gastronomical, educational, entertainment and commercial content.
The stalls are in the indoor and outdoor areas of Technopolis in Athens. All participants will learn about coffee trends, meet experts, taste a variety of coffee, and more.

36. Coffee Festival Portland (October 13-15), Portland, OR
The Coffee Fest is happening at the Oregon Convention Center and the event is open to coffee and tea professionals and for anyone passionate about coffee. It is a perfect time to network, learn new skills, find out new products and just have fun. Barista can compete for America’s best cold brew, America’s best espresso, and Latte Art World Championship Open.

37. International Coffee and Tea Festival (November 1-3), Dubai, UAE
Dubai is home to luxurious shopping malls, the iconic Burj Khalifa hotel, the best beach clubs, and the best one-stop International Coffee and Tea Festival in the Middle East. The event will have new coffee products and equipment. It’s the best place to promote your products, network with coffee and tea professionals, and much more.
38. Mr. Black Festival of the Espresso Martini (November 4-6), North Melbourne, Australia
The world’s only espresso martini festival is open to anyone who is of a legal age to drink. According to the event’s website:
Mr Black – the world’s foremost coffee liquor – is playing host to hundreds of coffee-and-liquor loving Victorians. With caffeinated creations from some of Australia’s best bars coffee shops, food trucks, tunes and coffee pong, come and celebrate the miracle of coffee for a whole weekend in Melbourne.

40. Kona Coffee and Cultural Festival, Kona, Hawaii
Kona Coffee and Cultural Festival is Hawaii’s oldest food festival. This event celebrates Kona’s coffee culture and heritage. The mission is to preserve, perpetuate, and promote Kona’s 200-year-old coffee history. There are 650 coffee farms in the Kona district. The average coffee farm is about three acres in size. Visitors are welcome to visit the farms along the Kona coffee belt.
41. Milwaukee Coffee Festival (November 5), Milwaukee, WI
Specialty coffee shops have grown in leaps and bounds in the last five years in Milwaukee. The city also boasts of popular roasters like Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company and Colectivo Coffee. Attending the Milwaukee Coffee Festival gives you the venue to meet new roasters, coffee experts, and coffee shop owners. The date is still unconfirmed at this time.
