Other than adding flavor, consider using coffee syrup because…

What are the best coffee syrup brands?

Here are a few coffee syrup brands. We found the best way to find your favorite brand is by purchasing a variety pack sampler. We’ve noted a few brands that have them available on Amazon.

1. Torani Coffee Syrups

Torani was born in San Francisco when Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre brought the recipes for these syrups over from Lucca, Italy to the US in 1925. It wasn’t until 1982 over 50 years later that they created the first vanilla coffee syrup and put a focus on creating syrups for coffee. Today there are over 150 kinds of Torani syrups so you won’t ever be bored. Try their syrups for coffee in a variety pack of caramel, French vanilla, vanilla and hazelnut.

2. Monin Coffee Syrups

Monin was founded in 1912 by Georges Monin in Bourges, France when he noticed drinks he was serving to his guests were lacking in bold flavors. He found a way to extract flavor into a liquid to then flavor beverages, which is what Monin does today. And over 100 years later, they have operations all over the world.

To try their coffee syrups to see if it’s something you may like, try their Gourmet Coffee Collection, which includes five flavors. They are small bottles but a great introduction to Monin. They also have cold brew coffee concentrates that you can mix into water or milk for flavorful coffee instantly.

If you’ve ever wanted to recreate a favorite Starbucks drink, why not get syrups from the source? Though it may not be the exact same recipe as they’ve stated “Starbucks flavored syrups and sauces are inspired by the signature Starbucks flavors you enjoy in our cafés,” it’s relatively inexpensive compared to the rest of these coffee syrups if you’re new to coffee syrups and just want to taste syrups. How to Make Vanilla Syrup for Coffee

It is so simple to make your own vanilla coffee syrup. It might not taste exactly like vanilla syrups from some of these brands, but if you’ve run out of syrup and need syrup now, try this. The rule of thumb for making syrup is using one part water to one part sugar.

All you need to do is put one part water and one part sugar (like one cup water and one part sugar) into a pot, plus vanilla extract and heat it until the sugar dissolves. Wait for the syrup to cool and store it in a container. That’s it! You know what exactly has gone into your syrup and you can tell everyone it was homemade.
