Why should you use coffee syrup?
Coffee syrup is used for flavoring coffee. It allows you the opportunity to enrich a regular cup of black coffee with flavors like a classic vanilla to something more unique like pumpkin pie, lavender and even rose. Torani was born in San Francisco when Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre brought the recipes for these syrups over from Lucca, Italy to the US in 1925. How to Make Vanilla Syrup for Coffee
It is so simple to make your own vanilla coffee syrup. It might not taste exactly like vanilla syrups from some of these brands, but if you’ve run out of syrup and need syrup now, try this. The rule of thumb for making syrup is using one part water to one part sugar.
All you need to do is put one part water and one part sugar (like one cup water and one part sugar) into a pot, plus vanilla extract and heat it until the sugar dissolves. Wait for the syrup to cool and store it in a container. That’s it! You know what exactly has gone into your syrup and you can tell everyone it was homemade.
